AASCIF Code of Conduct

The American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds (AASCIF) is committed to maintaining ethical, fair, and professional standards within the workers' compensation industry. All members are expected to adhere to the following principles: 

  1. Professional Behavior 
    All interactions and business dealings should reflect respect, integrity, and professionalism, fostering a collaborative and productive industry environment. 

  1. Confidentiality 
    Members must protect sensitive information, including employee and business data, and refrain from using such information for unfair competitive advantage. 

  1. Respect for Employment Relationships 
    Members are expected to show courtesy and respect for the employment relationships of others. Soliciting employees from other AASCIF members during AASCIF events, or using these gatherings for solicitation purposes, is discouraged. 

  1. Fair Competition 
    Members shall compete fairly and ethically, avoiding actions that undermine or destabilize other members' businesses. Conversations should be structured to ensure compliance with anti-trust regulations and fair competition laws.  

  1. Accountability 
    Members are expected to self-regulate their conduct and encourage others to adhere to these principles.  

By adhering to this Code, AASCIF members contribute to a fair, respectful, and thriving workers' compensation industry.
